Divine Happy School is one of the most prestigious school in Bhagalpur. It is operated under Sri Mathura Kumar Educational Foundation Trust; with commitment to academic excellence, ethical awareness, sportsmanship and willingness to go through ups and downs of life in an optimistic manner. The school lays emphasis on its primary motto "Service to Humanity".The school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, which is the largest education board in the country. The school endeavours to enable students to imbibe the sublime elements of our culture and civilization. Stress is laid on the universal aspect of Indian culture. Emphasis is laid on the practical aspects of morality along with academic and cocurricular activities.

School Profile

Divine Happy School is a co-educational day school. The school had its inception in a small block with 8 classes. Gradualy over the years, we added three storeys for each class till Std.X.By 2004, we had a complete infrastructure consisting of full-fledged laboraties, computer rooms, activity rooms, workshops and a sparawling playground.

The foundation stone for second block was laid in may 2009, By 2016, the second block had three floors having 30 classrooms, 3 activity rooms, laboratries.

Academics

We take excellence and commitment to education very strongly. Meaningful education is of prime importance in today’s competitive world. We make sure that quality education is provided to each and every student, in such a way that children develop a love for learning and pursue it with a positive approach.We continuously explore innovative and new methods for teaching which can be more effective than role learning. The school strictly follows CBSE curriculum which lays down the framework for all activities and learning to be conducted in the school. The CCE pattern of evaluation takes care of all around development. It includes assessments in scholastic and co-scholastic areas, Scholastic aspects include subject areas, while co-scholastic aspects include life skills co-curricular activities value and attitudes.

Admission

The classes for the new academic session commencing from the first week of April. Admission is taken for classes Nursery to class VIII subject to availability of seat students are not admitted in class IX and X. All students will have to appear for a written test in relevant subjects for the class for which admission is sought. Admission will be confirmed only after a performance at the student deemed satisfactory.

Students can seek admission of senior secondary level for Science, Maths and Commerce streams, subject to availability of seats. They are encouraged to judiciously exercise their choice for subjects. To this end, a career counseling session and class-demo it also organized by the school.

The schedule for tests, school prospectus and admission will be declared timely on the school notice board and news section of the website.
