Admission

Welcome to Divine Happy School

Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.

Let us remember: One book, one pen, one child and one teacher can change the world

Classes for the new academic session start from first week of April. We accept admission for students from Nursery to Class V only. The admission process is open from January to May only, and students are admitted subject to availability of seats. We do not take new admissions from class VI-X or class XII.

Admission for Nursery – Class V:

All students must appear for a written test for relevant subjects of class in which they wish to apply. The exam will typically cover the course which the student should have completed in the previous class. All students must score at least 50% to be eligible for admission. Admission will be confirmed only confirming performance in written test and/or optionally an in-person meeting with the parents. The schedule for admission test and availability of admission forms are declared on the school notice board in mid-December so that parents have sufficient time to complete the process before start of academic session.
Admission tests are held on every Saturday from 2 January to 30 April. Parents are requested to be present along with the students for any in-person interviews that may be conducted with them. Selection list is displayed on the notice board after 4 days of the written test, following which parents may confirm their admission to school by completing admission formalities within 2 weeks.

Please note the following guidelines regarding admission for Nursery – Class V:

Admission for Class XI:

For class XI, admission forms are typically available around the time of publishing of Board results. The school typically starts preliminary classes ahead of time, which also includes any career counselling sessions that students may like to attend to finalize their choice of subjects. All students of Class X are eligible to attend those classes. No fees is charged for attending preliminary classes or career counselling sessions, till the result of Class X is declared.
English is a compulsory subject for all students. We offer science and commerce stream at senior secondary level. Science students can choose between one of Biology and Maths, along with Physics and Chemistry. Commerce students are offered Business Studies, Accountancy and Commerce, optionally with Maths if they wish. All students also opt for an elective subject from Computer Science, Music and Physical Education.
