We would like to congratulate Abhilasha Kumari and Anushka Khetan of Class VIII-D for their excellent results in 30th National Child Science Congress (NCSC) at Bhagalpur District Level. Abhilasha and Anushka have demonstrated excellent performance among 100 students of 40 schools. Mr. Ambrish Barman is their guide teacher. We wish them best wishes for their future progress in the programme.

NCSC is a flagship programme of National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. It is a forum for children of the age-group of 10-17 years, both from formal school system as well as from out of school, to exhibit their creativity and innovativeness and more particularly their ability to solve a societal problem experienced locally using the method of science. A group of 2 children is formed. This group selects a local specific problem under the focal theme and finds a solution to the problem. The work is done under the supervision of a Guide Teacher. This programme inculcates the spirit of scientific study as well as analysing a problem scientifically.
