Eligibility

CBSE School Admission Eligibility — Age criteria for admission

Following the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP), the minimum age at the start of the academic session is:

Admissions are open from Pre-Nursery to Class VI between December and April each year, subject to availability of seats. New admissions for Classes VII and above are not available.

Admission to Class XI opens after Class X board results are declared, typically between May and July. Only students who have passed Class X in the current academic session are eligible.

How to apply

Admission process

Pre-Nursery, LKG, UKG

Walk-in admissions based on an elementary interaction with the child and parents. No written test. The interaction helps assess the child's readiness and ensures they are placed in an environment suited to their developmental stage. Admission window: December to April.

  • 3Attend the interaction session with your child
  • 4Admission confirmed within 3-4 working days

Classes I – VI

Students appear for a short written test to evaluate their academic readiness. Tests are held on Saturdays during the admission window (December to April).

  • 2Submit the completed form with required documents
  • 3Student appears for the written test on the scheduled date
  • 4Results declared within 3-4 working days
  • 5Confirm admission upon selection

Class XI

Admission opens after the declaration of Class X board results, typically between May and July each year. Only students who have passed the Class X board examination in the current academic session are eligible. Streams available: Science (PCM), Science (PCB), Commerce. Elective subjects: Physical Education, Music, Computer Science.

Provisional marksheet declared by the board is accepted for the admission process. The final marksheet must be submitted prior to confirmation of admission.

  • 3Stream and elective selection confirmed based on results and availability
  • 4Submit final marksheet before admission is confirmed

What to bring

Documents required for admission

At the time of admission, bring the originals along with one photocopy of each. Originals will be returned after verification.

Pre-Nursery to Class VI

  • Two passport-size photographs of the student
  • Birth certificate or Aadhar card of the student
  • Transfer certificate (for Class II onwards)
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Aadhar card of the student, father, and mother
  • Report card from previous school, including annual exam results (for Class I onwards)

Class XI

  • Aadhar card of the student
  • Class X pass certificate
  • Class X marksheet (provisional marksheet accepted; final marksheet must be submitted before confirmation of admission)
  • Migration certificate (if applicable — for students from other schools)

Please note

  1. No changes in name (including spelling) or date of birth will be entertained after admission. Ensure all details are accurate and consistent across official documents.
  2. Students will be assigned an APAAR ID based on details submitted at admission. Do not make changes to Aadhar card or similar documents after submission, as this may cause complications during board examinations or APAAR registration.
