"Cooking Without Fire" — A Sizzling Success!
The school kitchen came alive with colour, creativity, and delicious aromas as students from Classes IX, X, and XII participated enthusiastically in the much-awaited activity, "Cooking Without Fire," held from 23rd to 29th April 2026. The activity aimed to nurture culinary creativity, teamwork, and hygiene awareness among students, while encouraging them to prepare tasty and nutritious dishes without the use of fire or heat.
With over 100 students participating across sections, the event turned into a delightful showcase of innovation, presentation skills, and team spirit, as young chefs experimented with fruits, vegetables, sauces, and no-cook ingredients to create visually appealing and flavourful dishes.
The competition was conducted section-wise over four vibrant days:
- 23rd April 2026 – Class X, Section B
- 25th April 2026 – Class X, Section C and Class XII, Section A
- 27th April 2026 – Class IX (Sections A, B, C) and Class X, Section A
- 29th April 2026 – Class IX, Section D and Class X, Section D
Each section's participants were divided into small teams, and the top three teams from every section were awarded First, Second, and Third prizes based on taste, presentation, hygiene, and creativity.

A Wonderful Learning Experience
The activity was a wonderful platform for students to explore their culinary talents while reinforcing essential life skills such as planning, hygiene, presentation, and collaboration. The enthusiasm and creativity displayed by every participant made the event a memorable one for the entire school community.
